White canvas shoes painted for summer

She works a full time job to support his dreams
She is good to him, three weeks out of the four in one month
She gladly washes all of the laundry
She goes to the grocery store without fail, every single week
She gets up early to wash the dishes from the night before
She has negotiated with the bank to lower the mortgage, thus, saving the house
And she now plants gardens of food all ’round the outside
She does your banking at 5am, and late at night
She comes home from work later than you do
She takes old garments and makes new pillows out of them
She hands down the clothes to all of the neighborhood children
and so you get to enjoy them AGAIN
She buys snow boots in the summer for the discount, thus, saving you money
Once is a while she will start a trend with something she has put in her hair
She takes the good stuff to the consignment shop, to get at least some of the money back
She always attends the games, and she shouts quite loudly her support for her child

She is humble and doesn’t fight with you, unless she can win
She cleans up the flu bug, while everyone else is sick
and carries them to the doctor in the heart of the season
She does it all for a child’s kiss, so don’t bother yourself, but you’d better not forget Valentines Day.
She will bring you to know the Lord
and when all vanity fades away you will be left with more than you started with.

THE REAL PROVERB 31

Her husband depends on her,
and she never
lets him down.
She is good to him
every day of her life,
and with her own hands
she gladly makes clothes.
She is like a sailing ship
that brings food
from across the sea.
She gets up before daylight
to prepare food for her family
and for her servants.
She knows how to buy land
and how to plant a vineyard,
and she always works hard.
She knows when to buy or sell,
and she stays busy
until late at night.
She spins her own cloth,
and she helps the poor
and the needy.
Her family has warm clothing,
and so she doesn’t worry
when it snows.
She does her own sewing,
and everything she wears
is beautiful.
Her husband is a well-known
and respected leader
in the city.
She makes clothes to sell
to the shop owners.
She is strong and graceful,
as well as cheerful
about the future.
Her words are sensible,
and her advice
is thoughtful.
She takes good care
of her family
and is never lazy.
Her children praise her,
and with great pride
her husband says,
“There are many good women,
but you are the best!”
Charm can be deceiving,
and beauty fades away,
but a woman
who honors the Lord
deserves to be praised.
Show her respect—
praise her in public
for what she has done.
